TROPICAL FLOWERING TREE SOCIETY PRESENTS 72ND ANNUAL ROYAL POINCIANA FIESTA MIAMI’S OLDEST CONTINUOUS  RUNNING  FESTIVAL -
SUNDAY, JUNE 7th - 11:00 am: Bring a picnic lunch and tour The Kampong, the former home of David Fairchild, at 4013 Douglas Rd., Coconut Grove. The American Antiques Veterans Car Club will showcase their beautiful cars. Trolley tour of Coral Gables/Coconut Grove areas’ most dazzling Royal Poinciana trees will depart from the Kampong.  Traditional Poinciana Punch and cake will follow. The fee is $20 per person.  Reservations are essential for this popular event.  Call 305-258-1086.

MONDAY, JUNE 8th- 7:00pm Meet at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in the Garden House (no fee), 10901 Old Cutler Rd., Coral Gables. Take a tram tour of the Garden.   The 72nd Queen and her Court will be announced and  presented  with scholarship funds.  Listen to the jazz music of Joe Donato. Check out the art show.
